Quality and Care from the Mill Door to the Customer's Floor
Kultur Hardwood Flooring was established in 2004 in Renfrew, Ontario. With the construction of a vertically integrated flooring plant, outfitted with state-of-the-art technology. This includes a customized on-site sawmill, specialized dry kiln capacity, a fully automated modern flooring mill, and in-house finishing.
Our European manufactured dry kilns are optimized especially for white woods. Kultur's Hard Maple exhibits the best qualities of the species – a crisp white background, intermixed with the pleasant and subtle grain of slow growth Canadian timber.
Kultur has the most advanced wood-flooring mill in North America, incorporating multiple customized molders milling with diamond tools. Our Kultur wood grading protocols are not dependent on subjective decision-making. Rather, our computer-driven defect removal systems identify wood features and color with pinpoint accuracy. Customers can expect to receive flooring with a consistent grading that will not deviate from one order to the next.
At Kultur, we believe the flooring finish is a key factor in the purchasing decision. Our coatings exhibit furniture-grade finishing clarity along with the scratch resistance of ceramics. Kultur coatings also feature UV blockers for non-yellowing properties and anti-microbial agents resist the onset of mold. Finally, Kultur Naturale solids are bottom-coated to help reduce the effect of seasonal humidity swings, which cause dimensional changes.
