Grades
At Kultur, we use 100% of the log to produce our flooring products, including the 40% high-grade lumber that is normally reserved for non-flooring applications.
As a result, Kultur Lounge Grade flooring has a longer average length and furniture quality appearance. Lounge Grade is similar to NOFMA- Select- Grading, which allows for subtle color variations and occasional small pin knots.
Kultur Studio Grade bares similarities to NOFMA -#1 Common- Grading, which results in some colour variation and small tight knots.
In the Kultur Loft Grade, the beauty of the real wood is kept intact instead of removing the features that are naturally present. This way, Loft Grade provides the homeowner with flooring that exhibits the features and warmth that only nature can provide. The open knots that appear in the Loft Grade are treated for superior finish retention.
